My Results After NFL Week 2

After week NFL week #2 I am disappointed with my results. 8-8 is my final results and I was surprise by some teams who lost. The most upsetting lost to me was the Cowboys losing to the Bears. After all this talk about this team going to the Super Bowl they are currently 0-2. After looking at their schedule they have some more difficult teams coming up. Another shocker was the Texans beating the Redskins in OT. Graham Cano had the game won in OT by kicking a 52-yard field goal that would have given the Redskins the win, but the Texans called a timeout at the last second. When he attempt to duplicate the process,Gano pushed the second attempt wide right. Neil Rackers came in and hit the winning field goal for the Texans leading them to a 2-0 season. The other losses that I was wrongfully choosing was the Bengals, Patriots, Vikings,Titans, Seahawks and Rams. I definitely have to step my game up and I guaranteed next week my predictions will speak for itself. Enough of this writing I have to analyze week 3 and my predictions. I will post my predictions tomorrow.

My Predictions For NFL Week #2

Ladies and gents it's time for my predictions for week number 2. We have some tough match-ups this week and I usually post my predictions on Tuesdays, but I had to sit back and analyze some teams before I updated my blog. Well here goes nothing.
Let's kick it off with the 1pm games:

Baltimore @ Cincinnati- I predict this will be a close match-up but I predict the Ravens will win because of their defense.
Chicago @ Dallas- I predict the Cowboys will protect their home and win easily.
Philadelphia @ Detroit- With Michael Vick starting I predict the Eagles will run the Lions out their stadium.
Arizona @ Atlanta- I predict the Falcons will protect their home and win. The offense of the Cardinals seems to be struggling.
Kansas City @ Cleveland- I predict the Chiefs will win on the road. This teams is going to stand out this year.
Buffalo @ Green Bay- I predict the Packers will win. Their offense and defense is definitely on one cord.
Pittsburgh @ Tennessee- I predict the Titans will prevail over the Steelers.
Tampa Bay @ Carolina- I predict the Bucs will win on the road over the Panthers.
Miami @ Minnesota- I love my Dolphins but I predict the Vikings to win. I believe the crowd will impact the Dolphins ability to win on the road.

4pm games on Sunday:

Saint Louis @ Oakland- I predict the Rams to win. Even with Oakland picking up Campbell. I still am not convince that the Raiders are ready for the playoffs.
Seattle @ Denver- I believe that the Seahawks will win on the road.
Houston @ Washington- I predict that the Redskins will protect their home.
New England @ New York Jets- This is the game to watch because it's going to be a match-up between Revis/Moss and I predict the Patriots will win.
Jacksonville @ San Diego- I predict the Chargers will win at home.

Sunday 8pm game:

New York Giants @ Indianapolis- I predict the Colts will win at home but it will be exciting to see the Manning brothers match-up again.

Monday Night Game:

New Orleans @ San Francisco- I predict the Saints will march right over the 49ers.

Well ladies and gents I will post my results Tuesday 9/21/10 and let's see if my results are better than last week.

My Results After NFL Week 1

Well after week 1 of the NFL season my record stands as 12-4 and I am pumped up. I always strive for perfection but I'm not disappointed with my outcome. The teams that let me down was the 49ers, Colts, Chargers and Bengals. The most shocking of them all is the Colts simply because of Peyton Manning and it shows that any given Sunday anything can happen. Peyton had a great performance but it's not about individual accolades, at the end of the day they still did not get over the hump. The Texans performance was impressive and I believe they will have a good season. Well ladies and gents I will post my prediction for NFL week 2 on Thursday 9/16/10.

Ochocinco is fined again

Once again Chad Ochocinco is fined 25,000 for tweeting during the preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles on August 20th. NFL players are not allowed to post any messages on social media websites 90 minutes before kickoff & until post game media obligations are fulfilled. Everybody know Chad loves the attention and he brands himself very well. In fact, after he was fined he apologized stating "I've been fined by the league a substantial amount of money for tweeting, 1st time twitter hasn't made me money but cost me money," he wrote. Also, ""Dear NFL I apologize for tweeting during the game but that was 2 months of Bugatti payments you just took from me,I won't do it again,"

Let's see if this behavior will roll over to the regular season

The Prima Donna Is Back

After stating once again that he is completely done with Football, Brett Favre decides to rejoin the team again to put aside his latest brush with retirement. He said he opted to play a 20th NFL season because he felt he owed his teammates "one more try" at a Super Bowl title. I must say that his behavior is absurd and unprofessional. Not only do I blame him, but I also blame the organization of Minnesota for allowing this behavior to happen. . The three Vikings players had visited Favre late Monday and Tuesday at the quarterback's home in Mississippi and convinced him to play. To make matters worse The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that the Vikings are prepared to increase Favre's salary for this season from $13 million to $16.5 million. I wonder how the back up QB's are feeling. Brett Favre seems to be selfish and avoids pre-season just to play during the regular season. It will be interesting to see how this situation unfolds.

Shaq Is In The Mean Green

This past Tuesday morning Shaq was introuded as the new member of the Boston Celtics. The main reason why he decided to join forces with the Celtics is to add more championships before his retirement. Can it happen? Definitely, Shaq is aware of his role and is prepared to play anywhere from 20-25 minutes. Originally, Shaw hit the free agent market seeking a two-year deal worth a reported $8 million to $10 million a season. The Celtics expressed an interest -- though not at that price -- and general manager Danny Ainge moved on to pursue other options. O'neal finally came around and his agent called him stating he is ready to play. Shaq definitely feels confident and with having a big guy in the middle can definitely help dominate the middle. Everybody ask Shaq about nicknames, O'Neal said he liked the Big Shamrock but was also partial to the Big Green Mile.

Brett Favre Is Set To Retire

In most recent news, Brett Favre has informed the Vikings he will not return to Minnesota for a second season. Favre has sent text messages to teammates saying, "This is it," according to several sources. It has not been confirmed as of yet but it definitely may happen. With Favre, of course, nothing is ever necessarily final after 19 NFL seasons. He told the Vikings last year he wouldn't play, but changed his mind and joined them immediately after they broke training camp, with Childress even driving to the airport to pick him up. Camp this year ends on Aug. 12. He had one of his best seasons last year, with career bests in completion percentage (68.4), quarterback rating (107.2) and fewest interceptions (7), while throwing for 33 TDs and 4,202 yards to lead the Vikings to an NFC North title. He hurt his left ankle in the NFC Championship Game loss to the New Orleans Saints and had arthroscopic surgery in May.

If Favre decides to actually retire for good, it will end one of the most storied careers in NFL history.

A three-time league MVP (1995-97), Favre won Super Bowl XXXI with the Packers. His 11 Pro Bowl appearances are the most ever by a quarterback.

Indeed, Favre holds most major NFL records for a quarterback, including career touchdowns (497), yards passing (69,329); wins (181); and seasons with at least 3,000 yards passing (18).

R.I.P To George Steinbrenner

It's definitely a sad day in the sports world as we lose another icon. Steinbrenner had a heart attack, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Fla., and died at about 6:30 a.m. ET, according to multiple reports. George built the Yankees from ground up. In fact, in 37-plus seasons as owner, Steinbrenner led the Yankees to seven World Series championships, 11 American League pennants and 16 AL East titles. He changed the game of the franchise by starting his own television network and ballpark food company. Forbes now values the Yankees at $1.6 billion, trailing only Manchester United ($1.8 billion) and the Dallas Cowboys ($1.65 billion). The Steinbrenner family said that funeral arrangements will be private; however, details about an additional public service will be announced at a later date. He is gone but he will not be forgotten at all. R.I.P to a legend

Amare Reaches New Deal In A New Place

While all the speculation is involved in LeBron, Dwayne & Chris Bosh the show must go on and it has with New York reaching an agreement Monday with free agent Amare Stoudemire. The All-Star forward will receive a five-year, $99.7 million contract that will reunite him with coach Mike D'Antoni. Amare is excited about his new deal and already stated that he is going to attempt to recruit LeBron over to New York. The Knicks believe they are still in the hunt for James, but Sunday night's news that James planned to delay making a decision until Wednesday or Thursday helped force their hand in regards to Stoudemire. With this deal taking place it effectively removed the Knicks from the pursuit of Chris Bosh, and it significantly reduced the chances of David Lee returning to New York. However, the Knicks could still use Lee in a sign-and-trade deal if they miss out on James and Wade, but Lee could choose to take a five-year offer from another team between now and Thursday. Stoudemire had spent his entire career in Phoenix, where he played under D'Antoni before the coach came to New York in 2008. Stoudemire averaged more than 20 points in every season they were together and immediately becomes the best player D'Antoni has coached since leaving the Suns after the 2007-08 season. At this point they have their fingers crossed to see if they can also have LeBron join their organization.

Let The Talk Begin!!!!!!!

Ladies and gentlemen let the talk begin. Nets billionaire owner Mikhail Prokhorov, rap mogul Jay-Z, coach Avery Johnson and other team officials spent more than 90 minutes making a presentation on Thursday to James, the two-time MVP and budding global icon who became the most celebrated free agent in history at 12:01 a.m. The Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers are expected to meet with James on Friday, with the Chicago Bulls and Cavaliers scheduled to visit with him Saturday. Cleveland's hoping that James' loyalty to home will keep him in Ohio. The team gave him something to consider as free agency opened by offering Byron Scott their coaching job. Scott's agent, Brian McInerney, told the AP that Scott has accepted the position. It's definitely exciting to see teams offer their presentations and history on free agents that they are trying to lure in. In one week history will be made and we shall see what happens

New Rumors Surrounding LeBron/Wade & Bosh

It has recently been reported that LeBron, Dwayne and Chris Bosh have engaged in conversation discussing how all three could fit under the Miami NBA club’s salary cap. How could all three play together you ask?  According to a source I read in Sun-Sentinel they all have agreed to split it up by unloading the $4.96 million 2010-11 salary on the contract of forward Michael Beasley, as well as potentially minimizing the cap hit of the buyout of forward James Jones, the Heat would be on the cusp of being able to extend maximum offers to Wade, James and Bosh. I also read that they are able to pull off a trade for Bosh by being accommodated in such a scenario by the Heat either sending Beasley to the Raptors or including him in a multiple-team trade that involves Toronto. The Heat also could send draft picks to Toronto, including the Raptors’ future first-round pick the Heat currently holds, as a means of Bosh receiving his maximum contract length. At the same time it has been reported that Bosh/LeBron may join the Bulls as well the Chicago Bulls continuing to rank as a highly appealing destination and a return to Cleveland still figuring prominently in his thinking and with the Dallas Mavericks looming as an intriguing outsider. In that scenario, sources said, James and Bosh would join Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah in Chicago, while Wade would hope to be joined in Miami by close friend Carlos Boozer, who was not at the meeting. July 8,2010 is 8 days away and we shall see what happens

Repeat For The Lakers

The Lakers hold on to their title after defeating the Boston Celtics in game 7 (83-79).Kobe Bryant received the Finals MVP for averaging more than 28 points per game and leading the Lakers to their repeat. I must say it was not an easy task for the Lakers. Los Angeles Lakers had to rally from deficit after Boston led for almost 3.5 quarters. At halfway to fourth quarter, Lakers begun the rally led by Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. Ron Artest also supported the Lakers by scoring 20 points and a crucial three-pointers when Boston cut their lead to three. Boston played without their starting center, Kendrick Perkins, who suffered sprained knee in game 6. Kobe stated that this championship is the sweetest thus far and now their is a debate whether Kobe is the best Laker ever. Phil Jackson also won his 11th rings, six with Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls and five with the Los Angeles Lakers. It could be his last rings as he is not sure if he will return next season. Also in the arena is Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss. Magic Johnson handed the Larry O’Brien trophy to the champions. The Lakers are looking to do it again next year......We shall see.

Perkins Out For Game 7

Just imagint the  most important game in the NBA and what you fight for during the whole season and you are unable to play. Well Kendrick Perkins told reporters at Wednesday's media session that he tore two ligaments in his right knee in Tuesday's NBA Finals Game 6 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers and will be sidelined for Thursday's decisive Game 7. He will undergo an MRI on Friday to further assess the damage. This happen in game 6 when he landed awkwardly trying to haul in an offensive rebound midway through the first quarter and suffered what was originally diagnosed as a knee sprain. I must say that he may still play in my opinion because it's not like this opportunity will present itself again. Andrew Bynum is playing and he is not 100 percent, but he has the mind set that he may not duplicate this process next year. Game 7 is set for tomorrow and it's do or die for both teams and this is what you play for and what you train for so we shall see if Perkins is able to play partially tomorrow.

Big Ben Apologizes!!!!

Ever since Ben has been accused by a student who stated student he sexually assaualted her in a nightclub bathroom on March 5, Roethlisberger told Pittsburgh TV stations KDKA and WTAE that he expects to be booed this season .He has apologized extensively for his actions and promised to become the role model he should have been throughout his career. For the first time, Roethlisberger said that living a role rather than living a life may have affected him on the field, too. The Steelers went 9-7 and missed the playoffs last season, one season after winning the Super Bowl. He stated that that he got caught up being Big Ben the whole time and he lost track of who Ben Roethlisberger was. The question is how he would be perceived when the NFL season kicks off and the question remains should the fans forgive and forget or give him a hard time every time he steps on the field.

Strasburg Debut Is Tonight

Stephen Strasburg is set to make his Washington Nationals debut tonight. Tickets are selling like hot cakes and everybody is anticipating what kind of pitching frenzy he is going to put on tonight. Why is their so much anticipation you ask? It was almost cruel to watch Strasburg overwhelm hitters in Double-A and Triple-A. His combined stats: 7-2 with a 1.30 ERA with 65 strikeouts and only 13 walks in 55 1/3 innings.  He also eclipses the 100 mph mark with his fastball and makes hitters cringe with his curve and it will definitely be interesting if he can live up to all the hype cause we are looking at a star in the making.

Lakers/Celtics Who Will Win?

Ladies and gentlemen it is set in stone and we have the rivalry between the Celtics and the Lakers. The long time rivals seems excited to face each other after the 2008 match-up which the Celtics won 4-2. Kobe Bryant still remembers the day that the confetti was aired from the ceiling as he walked away is disappointment. He definitely is excited about the match-up and is looking forward to revenge this year. On the other hand the Celtics is looking to claim what is rightfully theirs and that is another championship. The defending champion Lakers are making their third straight finals appearance, their best run since they won three in a row from 2000-02. Bryant was the sidekick to Shaquille O'Neal on those teams, but the '08 finals was his first chance to win one alone which he was unable to acheived. The Lakers and the Celtics, the league's most storied franchises, renew their rivalry in the NBA finals for the 12th time from Thursday. The Lakers will host the first two games before the series shifts to Boston for the next three, if necessary. Both teams will be well-rested — the Celtics clinched their 21st trip to the finals by finishing off Orlando on Friday, while the Lakers are making their league-best 31st appearance after wrapping up their series against Phoenix in six games last Saturday. I definitely believe that the Celtics will defeat the Lakers in 6 because defense wins games and after what I saw against the Magic and how D. Howard was shut down I know for a fact they can duplicate the process against the Lakers.

It is times like this where you sit back and think about a dynasty that can last for the next 5-7 years if these gentlemen decide to join forces together. In order to win championships you have to put your ego aside and make a decision on continuing on star staus or competitng for a championship. Phil Jackson Denies Rumors Of Coaching The Bulls

It was a lot of speculation that Phil Jackson was headed to Chicago after this season with the Lakers. Supposedly, the general manager requested for Phil Jackson to take a pay cut, but Phil declined and that is where the rumors aired. Phil cleared the air today after meeting with reporters before Game 4 of the Western Conference finals, announced Tuesday night that he has no interest in a second stint coaching the Chicago Bulls. It was even more speculation that if he decided to come to coach the Bulls then LeBron would join forces and maybe even Dwayne Wade. Earlier Tuesday, ESPN.com also reported that the New Jersey Nets had made similar back-channel inquiries to assess the possibility of luring Jackson away from Los Angeles. We shall definitely see what happens during the off season.

Zach Thomas Retires As A Dolphin

Wedesday, Zach Thomas sign a one-day contract with the Miami Dolphins and retire as part of the franchise. So on Thursday, Thomas signed a one-day contract, officially worth $1 -- but in return he was able to give a proper farewell as a Dolphin. Only a fifth-round draft pick out of Texas Tech in 1996, Thomas became a star during 12 seasons with the Dolphins. He will definitely be remembered along with the likes of Dan Marino and Jason Taylor, who became Thomas' brother-in-law. Thomas had 1,038 tackles, 19½ sacks and 17 interceptions in 168 games for the Dolphins, and he was chosen for seven Pro Bowls. He spent the 2008 season with the Dallas Cowboys, then was in camp last year with Kansas City, which released Thomas before the season after unspecified injury issues. He didn't play again. Thomas really seems to be excited retiring as a Dolphin and he will not have it any other way. I must say it will be hard to replace the shoes of Zach Thomas

Mom Troubles Could Have Been The Cause Of LeBron Being Eliminated

In most recent news in the sports world, it has been speculation that Gloria James, the mother of MVP LeBron has engaged in affair with his teammate Delonte West. For the most part it is just rumor mail, but it has been stated that the reason LeBron was not playing up to his potential is because he heard the news during game 5 against the Celtics. Also, Delonte West minutes got cut down tremendously. Both parties have denied the allegations and stated they have not been romantically involved. If the rumor is not true then we know that LeBron just had a bad game and he will have to make the necessarily adjustments to fit his game for next season. If the rumor is true then we can all say that he is going on the next flight out of Cleveland.

What Is Next For King James

Well ladies and gentlemen tonight ends the season of LeBron and the Cavs after losing tonight 95-84 and the series 4-2 to the Boston Celtics. After ending the regular season with the best record and back-to-back MVP awards LeBron still came up short this year again. Now that he is a free agent everybody is making speculations that he will leave Cleveland and start a new chapter in his career. I must say that LeBron definitely is a player that plays his heart out and will do anything to win a championship. The big question now is that is LeBron leaving or staying in Cleveland. During his press conference he stated he wil definitely continue to work hard, but he also has options at this point in his life.Well July 1st is around the corner so we shall see because he will get major offers from teams and only time will tell.

LT Charged With Rape

One of the best NFL's linebacker in history was arrested by police in the Suffern, N.Y., area early Thursday (last week) morning and charged with rape. Taylor was accused of paying $300 for sex with a 16-year-old runaway from New York City. Taylor definitely denied the allegations and his lawyer stated he will contest the charges vigorously in court. Taylor was charged with third-degree rape a felony involving sex with a minor below the age of 17 and patronizing a prostitute in the third degree, a misdemeanor. Taylor had been known for drugs in his past, but this was a major shock to the public world and if he is convicted the felony charge is punishable by up to four years in jail and the misdemeanor charge is punishable by up to a year in jail, authorities said at an afternoon news conference. His wife believes he was set up and stated that LT has a specific taste for women and that is not his type, but nevertheless I wish him the best and we shall continue to watch the outcome.

Floyd Does It Again

If you were unable to tune into the fight last Saturday May 1,2010 you definitely missed one for the ages. Floyd silence all critics who questioned if he could withstand the power of Shane Mosley. Earlier on in the fight Shane Mosley hit Floyd Mayweather with a perfect right hand. That however did not deter Mayweather who returned stronger in third round and won a 12-round unanimous decision.WBA welterweight champion Mosley will retain this title as Mayweather is not interested in it. I know Mayweather is definitely interested in the big pay day which may be around $50 million. We definitely hope to see the highly anticipated fight between Mayweather/Pacquiao and if it happens it will be a historic match-up.

King James Does It Again

King James has done it again ladies and gents. He has won another MVP, repeating what he has done last year. I must say his numbers were incredible this year. He scored 29.7 points per game, with 7.3 rebounds, and 8.6 assists. LeBron also accumulated 1.64 steals and 1.01 blocks, which means that he was effective on both ends of the floor. He also dish the ball and made players around him stand out as well by averaging 8.6 assists. James received 116 of a possible 123 first-place votes to win in a landslide over Oklahoma City forward Kevin Durant, who was picked first on four ballots. Orlando center Dwight Howard received the other three first-place votes and finished fourth. James joined Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Moses Malone, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan and Steve Nash on a who's-who list of back-to-back winners. The only question now is if LeBron can complete his season with the ring. True champions are measured not by how many accolades, but how many rings they can bring to their team so stay tune and observe if he accomplish his goals.

What Is Next For Wade

As the season ends for the Miami Heat, everybody is inquiring on what the next move is for Dwayne Wade. The million dollar question is if he is going to stay in Miami or decide to open a new chapter in in career and go else where. In his press conference last night he stated that the pressure is no longer on him and now the pressure is on the front office and he has a lot to think about during the off season. I believe that he will stay if Pat Riley makes the necessary adjustments that will make his franchise player happy. A lot of speculation has been stated that Miami can afford to caliber players and we may able to acquire Amare Stoudemire or Chris Bosh and another guard. Also, their are a lot of players that are free agents next year and we may be able to create a dynasty team which Pat Riley stated in a recent interview. I can almost guarantee that if Pat Riley does not make the neccessary adjustments we may see out franchise player in another uniform.

JT Leaves Miami

Out of all the teams JT could have went to he decided to join an organization which he had a long feud with for more than a decade which is the Jets.He agreed to a two-year deal with the New York Jets, a deal worth $13 million on its face, but one that is essentially a one-year deal because of a $10 million bonus in 2011, which the Jets aren't likely to pay. The Jets seemed to have one of the best defenses in the league and with the addition with JT it makes their puzzle completed. The Jets are not hesistant to spend money on any player because they want to win a championship. Some say JT is past his prime, but their is one issue that no one can debate and that is when JT is one the field his presence is felt.

Brandon Marshall Is Now A Dolphin!!!!!!

If you have not already heard the news you must not have radio, television or a cell phone. Less than 12 hours after the Dolphins gave up two second-round picks to the Broncos for one of the league's top young players, the Orlando native already felt at home as he was embraced by th Dolphins fans. Marshall, who signed signed a deal worth $50 million over five seasons (with $24 million guaranteed) will prove why he is worth the big bucks. This will definitely help the Dolphins offense and allow them to try different options offensively. During the past three seasons (Marshall has been in the league four years), only Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker has more catches. During that same span, only five other wide receivers -- including Larry Fitzgerald and Randy Moss -- have had more yards so he has a pretty impressive resume. Even though people may say he has a insubordination problem he still comes to play every game and stands out. Parcels, knows how to deal with insubordination as he dealt with T.O in the past. I think this pick up will be the starting point for a great season and they definitely will make a impact in the AFC.

2010 NBA Playoff Bracket And My Predictions

Well it's been a great regular season, but now we face playoff time. This is what all the players in the NBA strive for and this is what you play 82 games for. As we narrow down the regular season so far this is how the playoff picture look in the East.

#1 Cleveland (61-20) Vs #8 Chicago Bulls (39-41)- This is really a no brainer, I predict Cleveland will win in 5 or 6 games.

#2 Orlando Magic (58-23) Vs #7 Charlotte Bobcats (44-37)- I predict Orlando will pull it off in 6 or 7 games because the Bobcats match-up well with the Magic.

#3 Atlanta (52-29) Vs #6 Milwaukee Bucs (45-36)- I predict the Hawks to win in 6 games because they are more physical and dominant than the Bucs.

#4 Boston Celtics (50-30) Vs Miami Heat (46-35)- I predict the Celtics to win in 6 games because they always step in up in the playoffs and this time around they have Kevin Garnett.

This is the playoff match-up in the west

#1 Los Angeles Lakers (56-24) Vs Oklahoma City Thunder (49-32)- I predict the Thunder to win in 6 or 7 games because they have had a big turn around season.

#2 Dallas Mavericks (54-27) Vs #7 San Antonio Spurs (50-31)- I predict the Mavericks to win in 6 games because ever since they acquire Caron Butler they have had a stellar season.

#3 Denver Nuggets (53-28) Vs #6 Portland Trailblazers (50-31)- I predict the Nuggets to win in 6 or 7 games because they have had a superb season.

#4 Utah Jazz (52-28) Vs #5 Phoenix Suns (52-28)- I predict the Jazz to win because this is a team that executes on both ends offensively and defensively

Well ladies and gentlemen that is my prediction for the first round of the playoffs, we shall see if the King is accurate on his predictions.

Donovan McNabb Joins The Redskins

After 11 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, McNabb was announced on Tuesday that he is now a Redskin. McNabb seemed excited and he is looking to lead the Redskins to a championship. McNabb has a impressive resume and has went to 6 pro bowls and also led the Eagles to the Super Bowl. A lot of writers, broadcasters, and journalists was inquiring on what is going to happen with Jason Campbell. Well he was quite shocked over the news when he heard it from his agent and not from his organization. Campbell may look at other teams and possibly leave Washington because he does not want to become a back up QB. I was shocked when I heard the news because both teams are in the same division and it seems like they did not want to pay McNabb, $5 million base salary in 2010 and a $6.2 million roster bonus, which is scheduled to be paid in May. I believe that the Eagles made a big mistake and when they face the Redskins when the season kicks off it will definitely be a big rivilary game to watch, and if the Eagles do not perform this season and make the playoffs then Andy Reid is the next to go.

Duke Is The 2010 NCAA Champs

Ladies and gents I must admit that even though I predicted Duke to win and become the NCAA champs I did not think that Butler would have put up a fight like they did last night. The game went to the wire with a halfcourt buzzer sounding shot that bounced off the backboard. Duke's 70,000 fans plied onto the court in excitement. Duke snapped Butler 25 game winning streak and with that win Duke brings home their 4th national title. The leaders of the game was Singler who put up 19pts and also Zoubek with 10 rebounds. If you missed this game it was definitely a game that will go down in history and I will speak more on it this Saturday on my radio blog at 11:am (917) 889-9156.

Who Deserve MVP In The NBA

Well I spoke about this on my radio show last week for those of you who follow me every Saturday from 11am-11:15am and I spoke on who deserves MVP. In my opinion it's a major toss up between LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant. Some may even say Carmello Anthony. When you analyze the player I have listed they are all averaging over 25 points a game, but what does MVP stand for? Most Valuable Player and I must say the Kevin Durant really put Oklahoma City on the map. Not only his he averaging 29.7 points a game, he also landed his team in a playoff spot in the west which is a tougher conference than the East. I think it will go down between LeBron and Kevin, but whoever thought that Oklahoma City would make it this far and without Kevin Durant I don't know where OKC would stand in the West. Well in due time it will be announced and we shall see.

It's Down To The Final Four

Well ladies and gents we started with more than a dozen teams in college basketball, and now we are down to the final four. The final four includes, Duke, West Virginia, Butler and Michigan State. I think the team that made a significant impact and was the team that most did not believe in was Butler. I can honestly say that I did not think they would have made it this far. The first game is #5 MSU Vs #5 BUT on 4/3/10 at 6:07pm and I predict Michigan will win by a close call. Right after the Michigan State/Butler game then you have #1 Duke vs #2 WVU and I predict Duke will win and ultimately win the whole tournament because they are well-rounded and coach, Mike Krzyzewski runs a phenomenal program. Tune in April 3rd to see if my predictions are accurate.

Who Should Receive Rook Of The Year

Now that the NBA season is coming to an end and teams are getting ready for the playoffs it's a toss-up on who deserves Rookie Of The Year. Well it's a no-brainer when it comes to the top 3 which is Tyreke Evans (SAC), Stephen Curry (GSW) and Brandon Jennings (MIL). The three names I stated are averaging over 30 mins and anywhere between 15-20 points per game. I think the battle will be between Tyreke Evans and Brandon Jennings. These two guys are explosive and they make their team look better and play better when they step foot on the court. If I had to make a prediction right now I would probably say Brandon Jennings because of the overall game and how the Bucks have acquire him in the draft. Furthermore, look at Milwaukee record compare to Sacramento. Jennings is looking to become the only rookie out of the top 3 to advance to the playoffs. They have won 39 games and lost 31 and the Kings have won 24 and lost 48 games. The winner will be announced soon and we will see if my prediction is correct.

Tiger Returns

Well ladies and gentlemen Tiger is back and is he is ready to play in the Masters which will probably be the biggest event in golf history. Some bloggers and spectators stated that his return to golf is too early and the reason he apologize in the first place was to return in time for the Masters. In my opinion I think it's ridiculous that we are still analyzing his relationship and not allowing him to play his game, which by the way when is on the golf course he usually takes out all competition. We all know that he is a role model and he made a huge mistake, but those bloggers, spectators, analysts, sports writers and commentators who believe he does not deserve a second chance I have a question for each of you. If the shoe was on the other foot would you want a second chance? I already know the answer, now with that being said when the Masters air in April let us see history happen. I will definitely have my popcorn out. Continue to follow my blog.

One-Sided Fight For Pacquiao

After all the speculation concerning if Pacquiao can handle the toughness of Clottey, he proved himself this past Saturday. For the most part it was a one-sided fight for Pacquio during the whole 12 rounds. Clottey was guarding his face which left his body wide open for Manny to throw over 1,231 punches and Clottey only threw 399. This may be the last fight for Pacquiao because he is looking to retire to focus on a career in the political office in his hometown. Before he decide to go that route the fans would like to see a head for head bout between him and Floyd Mayweather before he decided to put his gloves up.

LeBron Is Planning On Changing His Number

LeBron is set to change his number. LeBron announced back in November that he would like to retire his number 23 and wear number 6. He state he would like to pay tribute to Michael Jordan legacy. He in fact stated he would like number 23 to be banned from the NBA due to Michael Jordan. He would have to apply this week for a number change, however if he decided to play for another team he would not have to. That leaves question marks because he could possibly leave if the CAVS is unsucessful in delivering a championship. Stay tune.

#2 Overall Pick Demoted To D-League

In most recent news. Hasheem Thabeet #2 overall pick is headed towards the D-League. Thabeet is the highest draft pick ever sent to the D-League. It seems like the 7'3 center is not what the Grizzlies had in mind and really expected more from the former Bulldog. Memphis knew it would be somewhat of a struggle with Thabeet, but they hope he could survive being a back-up in his first NBA season. Lionel Hollins (Memphis head coach) stated that his second year center Hamed Haddadi of Iran would receive Thabeet minutes being Marc Gasol. I believe Thabeet would recover and definitely impact the NBA after developing himself a little more. Thabeet is currently averaging 2.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 10.3 minutes. I hope the best for Hasheem and I will continue to follow his career.
