Lakers/Celtics Who Will Win?

Ladies and gentlemen it is set in stone and we have the rivalry between the Celtics and the Lakers. The long time rivals seems excited to face each other after the 2008 match-up which the Celtics won 4-2. Kobe Bryant still remembers the day that the confetti was aired from the ceiling as he walked away is disappointment. He definitely is excited about the match-up and is looking forward to revenge this year. On the other hand the Celtics is looking to claim what is rightfully theirs and that is another championship. The defending champion Lakers are making their third straight finals appearance, their best run since they won three in a row from 2000-02. Bryant was the sidekick to Shaquille O'Neal on those teams, but the '08 finals was his first chance to win one alone which he was unable to acheived. The Lakers and the Celtics, the league's most storied franchises, renew their rivalry in the NBA finals for the 12th time from Thursday. The Lakers will host the first two games before the series shifts to Boston for the next three, if necessary. Both teams will be well-rested — the Celtics clinched their 21st trip to the finals by finishing off Orlando on Friday, while the Lakers are making their league-best 31st appearance after wrapping up their series against Phoenix in six games last Saturday. I definitely believe that the Celtics will defeat the Lakers in 6 because defense wins games and after what I saw against the Magic and how D. Howard was shut down I know for a fact they can duplicate the process against the Lakers.

  1. Eric, Iam rooting for Lakers to win another championship. I believe this will be one of the most hardest fought NBA Finals we've seen in a while. It will get physical and tempers will flare. At the end the team that gets the win on the road will prevail.
