Zach Thomas Retires As A Dolphin

Wedesday, Zach Thomas sign a one-day contract with the Miami Dolphins and retire as part of the franchise. So on Thursday, Thomas signed a one-day contract, officially worth $1 -- but in return he was able to give a proper farewell as a Dolphin. Only a fifth-round draft pick out of Texas Tech in 1996, Thomas became a star during 12 seasons with the Dolphins. He will definitely be remembered along with the likes of Dan Marino and Jason Taylor, who became Thomas' brother-in-law. Thomas had 1,038 tackles, 19½ sacks and 17 interceptions in 168 games for the Dolphins, and he was chosen for seven Pro Bowls. He spent the 2008 season with the Dallas Cowboys, then was in camp last year with Kansas City, which released Thomas before the season after unspecified injury issues. He didn't play again. Thomas really seems to be excited retiring as a Dolphin and he will not have it any other way. I must say it will be hard to replace the shoes of Zach Thomas

King James Does It Again

King James has done it again ladies and gents. He has won another MVP, repeating what he has done last year. I must say his numbers were incredible this year. He scored 29.7 points per game, with 7.3 rebounds, and 8.6 assists. LeBron also accumulated 1.64 steals and 1.01 blocks, which means that he was effective on both ends of the floor. He also dish the ball and made players around him stand out as well by averaging 8.6 assists. James received 116 of a possible 123 first-place votes to win in a landslide over Oklahoma City forward Kevin Durant, who was picked first on four ballots. Orlando center Dwight Howard received the other three first-place votes and finished fourth. James joined Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Moses Malone, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan and Steve Nash on a who's-who list of back-to-back winners. The only question now is if LeBron can complete his season with the ring. True champions are measured not by how many accolades, but how many rings they can bring to their team so stay tune and observe if he accomplish his goals.
