It was a lot of speculation that Phil Jackson was headed to Chicago after this season with the Lakers. Supposedly, the general manager requested for Phil Jackson to take a pay cut, but Phil declined and that is where the rumors aired. Phil cleared the air today after meeting with reporters before Game 4 of the Western Conference finals, announced Tuesday night that he has no interest in a second stint coaching the Chicago Bulls. It was even more speculation that if he decided to come to coach the Bulls then LeBron would join forces and maybe even Dwayne Wade. Earlier Tuesday, ESPN.com also reported that the New Jersey Nets had made similar back-channel inquiries to assess the possibility of luring Jackson away from Los Angeles. We shall definitely see what happens during the off season.
